Today we visited the Jewish Quarter which was very sobering. We went into a synagogue, the walls of which were covered in the names of all the Prague (or it might have been Czech) Jews who were killed during the Holocaust. We also saw the graveyard which was full of unmarked graves. We also heard a tour guide say that out of 200 000 children under the age of 15 who were sent to the camps, 240 survived :(

In the afternoon we did a concert at St Jilji Church which went very well. We were all very hot and hungry after that so went to a shopping centre which had a beautiful garden at the back to have some ice cream and a rest :)

In the evening we went on a 2 hour river cruise which was so much fun! The food was amazing (our hotel did not provide nice food!) and we sat on the deck singing and waving at other boats :)

These types of paintings are very common in Prague. The picture on the furthest right of the middle row is of the Old town Tower which we visited on Thursday.
