I was in Petersfield today for my six-monthly appointment with the dental hygienist. She’s very nice and is now three months into a PhD, which she likes to have a chat about when I see her. It’s always a little bit one-way, although I do my best to offer her the benefit of my experience through sounds and gestures. (I only thought to take a picture of something on my way back to the car.)
