A visit to the doctor
I had a follow-up appointment at the doctor’s this morning to check on what is probably a skin cancer on my hand. It hasn’t decreased from the use of Efudix as we had hoped but has changed and got bigger. The doctor gave me two options - he could cut it out, or he could refer me to a specialist after a biopsy had been taken and the specialist could cut it out. We decided it was best to get it done as soon as possible so the op will be done by the doctor on Monday afternoon. As the “object” is in a very awkward place between two knuckles my left hand will be out of action for at least two weeks so as not to risk tearing the wound open, which would cause all sorts of problems. This will mean, among other things, no Pilates and no cycling, which is very frustrating.
Other than that, MrMacD worked in the garden and I got on top of the computer admin work. We also spent time trying to work out how blinds could be installed on the windows in the little conservatory. It’s quite a difficult thing to do because of the way the windows are constructed, but we think we’ve come up with a solution.
I took a photo of the latest dahlia to flower and two photos of tonight’s sunset.
