mostly grey

The skies were grey, as forecast, so what better for my blip than an expanse of grey tarmac!

As anyone who has been following my journal may have realised, I'm an early riser hence the lack of cars when I parked up for my supermarket shop.

On the way home an item on local radio promised dragon boats on Windermere starting in Ambleside at 11 am. So, with reserve blip sorted, I headed off to Waterhead. No dragon boats - just a large number of canoes and not the same impact. Perhaps the dragon boats had a different route.

Will try and brighten things up again tomorrow.
