On the Lancaster Canal at Crooklands.

Looking north. The canal used to go up to Kendal. But when the M6 motorway was built it led to the closure of the canal  just a mile or two north of this point.  From there there are still bridges and you can walk beside the dry canal bed.
  This is well known to Blipper Puffin who just a few years ago walked down the length of the canal and recorded her journey on Blipfoto.
