Arcoíris

I went looking for bramblings where I saw them before Christmas, and instead I found a rainbow.  That seemed like a fair exchange.  It was late afternoon, and the arc was very tall, and I didn’t have my wide angle lens for the big camera.  So this was on the phone.

I discovered this view some months ago, from Cheesecake Wold looking across Megdale Plantation along the wold edge towards Kirkby Underdale.  The ground falls away very dramatically to the right of where I was standing.
