Dog days

Another post for the dog days of January. At least it wasn't raining when I took this first thing this morning when I arrived at work, but it certainly was later when I left. In fact, it felt like it was sleeting. Most unpleasant to cycle in. Seriously bored of January.

Another day where the pace felt it was gradually rising, but I had enough time - on the whole - to do things. From tomorrow onwards, that will be less likely.

I assume that the tree has been felled by the university estates people and is now just waiting being taken away. But someone I was chatting to as I took the picture put some doubt in my mind. Has it been felled by malefactors? Surely not.
