Glen Ogle Viaduct
The perfect day for the Glen Ogle Trail near Lochearnhead which includes traversing the magnificent viaduct which runs along the eastern hillside of Meall Reamhar. I think by now I have walked most of the Rob Roy Way apart from the last stretch into Pitlochry, most of it follows the former railway track so the walking is easy and no navigation required.
Islay was in good form and was quite intrigued by the fierce looking feral goats we met, extra.
We walked entirely in the shade and it felt bitterly cold, too cold to stop for lunch. I waited until we got back to Lochearnhead; Islay fell asleep in the car and I ate my lunch in the sunshine thawing out.
