Growing

I layered some bulbs in the pots that had contained the cosmos. At the bottom layer I planted tulips, then daffodils and on the top crocus. As you can see they are growing.

At lunchtime I put the ingredients for a Butternut Squash tagline in the slow cooker and Nigel and I had it for dinner. It was delicious.

A friend of my son’s dropped in to say hello. He now lives in New Zealand but he was back in the area as he’d attended the funeral of his father. He also died suddenly. There have been many tears for him and of course I’ve been remembering David’s sudden death.
