Drumming

Ben's school's summer fair today, a traditional event in the howling wind: coconut shy, bouncy castle, burgers, sweets, tombolas, and demonstrations from the kids. Ben has been doing drumming classes for a few months, and they put on a bit of a show today.

I am feeling a little bit shabby today, but had a lovely evening with the girls last night. James the bricklayer has been here putting in the arch for the new window for the extension, and Marc has been working on electrics for much of the day. I, on the other hand have done nothing productive at all.

Tomorrow it is our (now becoming) annual street party. So I guess it is going to rain and carry on blowing a hooley. Bloody British weather.
