Ship aground

A cloudy start to the day as I headed off to the gym for an enjoyable water fitness class.  It was a lovely steamy pool with warm water so you could almost imagine you were in tropical water.  After this I bought a few items in a nearby supermarket and headed back home.

The sun broke through in the morning and it has been a sunny but cold day.  I decided to go for a walk along the beach and get a photo for todays blip.  I took this shot looking back towards the town and didn't realise that there was a Cornish fishing boat aground at the far end of the image.  You can just see it if you zoom in.  Apparently it is a fishing boat from Falmouth that ran aground around 5.20am.  The lifeboat from Exmouth attended and the 3 crew members were able to walk to shore once the tide had fallen.  I did wonder why a small boat was in the sea nearby and not moving but assumed it was fishing.

Camera club tonight hopefully no drama there.
