Social event or stand off

I was lethargic this morning, but a phone call from the optician’s offering B an appointment to choose his new glasses managed to move me speedily. 

We had an hour to get breakfast and get into town. It was successful and specs chosen with the help of R who was working from home and could respond to the pictures that I sent her. 

We were not long home when Amber started running up and down the stairs barking and whining. We discovered that two local moggies were outside on the grass bank having a chat. She goes bonkers when she see them. Heaven help us if she ever chases one as she will end up in the ditch which is not obvious, between the path and the field.
