Busy nice day at work then mad dash to pick up my Dad from his pals. He’s up from Cornwall for a few days to do a recce for his Ecurie Ecosse tour in May. Basically invitation only millionaires with nice cars, dawdle around the Highlands and have enormous lunches and dinners. Bring your cheque book. Last years entry, the cars together were worth over £40 million, hence organisation and security are key. Every year, my dad says it’s his last, but like Status Quo, he tours again.At 89, I feel he could do without the hassle but hey, what do I know?
Picked up daughter. Home for a paella and a manalogue form my dad. Bejesus the man can talk.
