This poor little Lesser Celandine looking rather bedraggled after being covered in silt and river water for days on end but still coming up trumps when the water receded.   The river bank and area under the Weeping Willow are like a quagmire with silty deposits making it very sticky, goodness knows when it will dry out.
After a bit of sunshine this morning the rest of the day has been grey and dull although the wind does seem to have eased, thank goodness.
