Not edible

This week’s abstract Thursday theme is cropped (ala macro). Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting. This is a bird’s eye view of one of my crystal apples, SOOpC. When I was teaching, I had a large collection of apples. I whittled it down to my eight favorites before I moved from Maryland. They were all gifts from students.

This morning I received my second lumbar epidural injection. I have a third one scheduled for a month from now. These seem to be helping more than any other thing I have tried and they’re only painful for a day.

It turned out to be a good day to have a procedure because there’s been rain and wind gusts are up to 40 mph/64 km/h. The road to Madera Canyon is still closed. All excellent reasons to stay inside! If only I had a fireplace!! :-)
