The world stops

Teddy slept 12 hours, albeit fitfully.

The world seems to have stopped whirling by just as fast as it has been these last months.

He was sitting in the bath when it struck him. Teddys baths are frequent places of revelation. But he's taken the battery out the scales now.

Teddy realised that this is the first day in months that he hasn't had a deadline to meet. So he sat with his Carnforth mug, a very definite Teddy favourite, and a KiKat, another definite Teddy favourite.

And he did nothing.

Teddy thinks that he's missed doing nothing.
