More Destruction in da Hills

A fine day, gentle breeze, dry but cloudy.   A lovely calm evening.

Up early, a morning around the house.  Headed out walkies mid morning.  Nipped into Lerwick, popped along friends.   Another 1pm start in the airport again.  All flights on time, I've mostly been meeting and boarding flights.  Walkies with Sammy around the village, and there's a buzz about, Scalloway Fire Festival starts tomorrow.  Off to bed early.

My morning walk wasn't great, it was filled with sadness and disappointment.  I still can't bare to think about the awful sight of the windfarm, but it's now complete and will be running later this year.  Even though all the turbines are up, there's still so much destruction going on.  Everytime you pass, there's a new road going somewhere, some for the heavy pylons coming, and others roads just seem to be going nowhere, just sheer vandalism to nature.  Where and why this road has suddenly appeared, we probably will never know.  They seem to be keeping all the winter landslides undercover too, but they have been leaked via social media.  Looks like Viking Energy is also trying get out of reinstating ground, saying locals can use some destroyed land for car parks in the middle of nowhere.  Disgusting bunch of clowns.  Looking towards Scallafield, from Setter, Weisdale.
