Frozen Bubbles
Today were the perfect conditions to give the frozen bubbles another try.
Very cold (-9°C), without clouds and almost without wind.
The mixture worked well (recipe below).
The tips I found in the internet were:
Use the early morning sun (more colour, less wind),
try to get a dark background
use a straw to blow the bubbles, best from above
have a lot of patience and fun and use warm clothes ;-)
I added: try to get at least on Hanulli involved
(The snowman in the 5th extra was excited. He felt like he was in a real snow bubble. He was :-D )
Use a cookie cutter in shape of a German Shepherd as a homage of dear Omo. (last extra)
Mixture for rather stabile bubbles:
50 ml (hot) water
dissolve 1 tablespoon of sugar in it (the sugar creates the ice flower structures)
add 20 ml washing-up liquid (as pure as possible without additives)
For frozen bubbles let the mixture get rather cold (let it 20 minutes outside before you start)
Edit: Have a look to vmonkkon's frozen bubbles, too :-)
