Past mid-summer

The first day after midsummer's day was a showery one. We consoled ourselves with the fact that the garden needs the rain.

It also gave us the opportunity to go shopping for a forthcoming holiday. In a shopping centre. Joy.

They didn't have my size so I came back and ordered on-line.

Comparing the two experiences, I think I will live longer if I shop on-line.

The 'sunny showers' gave us some contrasts. And I hadn't blipped our view for some time. It sums up the day.
