This is a public information blip.

if, you are, like me a sad bibliophile with limited resources, and you find yourself in Alnwick, in the Northumberland marches.

Do not enter an establishment called Barter books, it will eat all  of your time, confuse and befuddle your senses, remove all vestige of logical thoughts and leave an encyclopedic sized hole in your finances.....
