Vintaged

When I was out with dogface this lunchtime, I spotted this notice.

Wasn't sure what it was giving notice of. Any writing on it has disappeared, and it appears to be turning the same colour as the wood-preserver on the pole.  

No idea how long it's been there, and it seems to have been inviting objections to something that had already been installed. Again, no idea what that thing might be. 

It kind of reminded me of when the kids used to do homework and had to make paper look old by singeing the edges.
