Storm Damage

Cycled a bigger round today to check on the damage Thursdays storm caused.
I was carefully choosing the paths - still branches all over the place. Once the path was blocked by a larger fallen tree and I had to carry the bicycle around it.
Many trees already moved to the side by the forestry workers.
With the wind still strong I expect more trees in the still very wet ground to fall.

I spotted this one across the meadow while I had a rest at the Ramstein Flugtag Memorial. I noticed the first victim on the memorial would have celebrated his 81. birthday today.
