Lochside walk

It was such a lovely sunny (but cold!) day that Minty and I headed down to the loch for our afternoon walk. No surprise that the water level was high, but look at the difference!

I got chatting to the young lad (who was delighted to pose on the rock) and his pal. They had got the train from Airdrie, where they live, to Balloch, had cycled as far as Milarrochy and were waiting for the sunset in about 20 minutes before cycling back. 

The pal said he'd looked at a map last night and thought they'd be able to cycle all the way round Loch Lomond - NO!!! - but good on them for getting as far as they did.
