We didn't go far but we went pretty much everywhere there is to go within a mile of our house. I think it's fair to say that we did the rounds of the local area's hotspots, finishing off with a trip to the swimming baths and a walk home in the drizzle. Wouldn't have it any other way.

All that's missing was the liver sausage sandwich.
