Today's activities included Phil-the-builder and Pam being here for several hours fitting all the new indoor and outdoor lighting I wanted; walking the dog in the park; having an afternoon cuppa with Gareth; a supermarket run and going to the Barnados charity shop where spending £2 got me ten lucky find hardback books (more of that another time), two mugs and a dish for Rufus' dinner - and all before Bro came back early evening for dinner together.
