Phew, what a whizzy day...
One of the teams that I work with had an in person "away day" in London, so I caught HS1 to St Pancras for that (140mph means Canterbury is less than an hour from London!), and had time for a catch-up with a friend in the evening before the train whisked me home to Canterbury by 9PM.
