Golden Years . . . David Bowie

This is Elsie and my sister in law and Elsie's son in law Alan.  Alan gives us avocados and has a wonderful vegetable garden and orchard.  It was his wife having the first party we attended.  I took the photo because Elsie is 93 and she was looking so happy and elegant in a new frock SIL had recently sewn for her.  She did have to leave at 8.00pm to be taken back to the care home a bit like Cinderella.  I did wonder if she had ever imagined she would one day be attending her daughters 70th birthday.  There were four generations at the gathering so I hope they took a family photo.
We made it to the second party as well.
