Queensland Lacebark

Redfern Park is my son’s local park. This tree has burst into flower since I was here a few weeks ago. It is fun trying to identify trees you don’t know.
In 1885 this swamp was turned into a Victorian Pleasure Ground. It is a lovely place, lined with fig trees and palms and other specimen trees.
