The village fights back

There are two supermarkets crammed into the centre of the medieval village we live in. A third is at an advanced stage of planning. Meanwhile we also have a vibrant stand alone fruit and vegetable shop and a highly respected cobbler who also cuts keys. One of the supermarkets has just installed an auto key cutting machine which has prompted much local opposition. We had a dinner party in the depths of the Cotswolds this evening. The roads were flood and frost free.
