Blue skies at last!
That's the big news today!
Stripped the bed and got some washing out. Cleared some dead foliage in the garden and uncovered the first snowdrops showing white. Such a lovely sight but a way to go yet.
The blip shows the wonderful blue sky behind the Magnolia trees which are full of early buds.
Chris pulled out the fallen fence, will need a bit better weather before replacing that I think.
We stayed in for son Alex to come and help with the removal of the old mattress. He stayed for a bacon buttie and a cup of tea.
I then went up to clean behind and under the bed which meant moving the divan. Not something you do everyday. I found a portfolio of all Grace’s art work from school! She forty next month! Will have to see if she wants it.
It’s clouded up a bit now but it was certainly nice to see the sun this morning. Alex had to come today as he’s off to Elgin for the week tomorrow for work, hope he gets there ahead of the forecast snow! So we have the excitement of moving into the back bedroom for three nights till the new mattress is delivered on Tuesday. Exciting!
