Saturday Night

These blue bridges are eTolls but the only thing they are good for is looking pretty at night! The public are fighting the implementation of these tolls and they have been standing like white elephants for months now.

We had to get up early this morning and go the home affaires office to renew daughter T's passport. Luckily it wasn't very busy there and we didn't take too long. Then it was a stop at the chemist to pick up medicines. When we got home I got the washing machine going and started to do my lesson preparation for the next few weeks. Then we had to go through to Pretoria. When we got back home I spent most of the day in front of the computer but I did get a lot done.

Son K and a few friends organised tickets to go and watch the Springboks play rugby at Loftus stadium. It was a double header and they were able to watch two test matches. (Scotland vs Italy and South Africa vs Samoa) of course this meant we had to go back this evening to fetch him. Not such an easy thing when 35 000 people are all leaving the stadium at the same time.

I always enjoying driving along the highways at night and seeing all the night lights of the city and suburbs. The world always looks different at night!
