Winter Golf….

Things I’ve learned about winter golf:

Cons:

It’s cold, often wet and windy.

The ball often needs digging out.

Your towel needs a wash after every game.

Footwear must be waterproof.

Ball doesn’t go as far as in warmer weather.

Pom Pom hats are required.

Pros:

Still great exercise.

Lets you develop your game.

Courses are a lot quieter.

Preferred lies.

Winter green fees are cheaper.

Holes are shorter due to temporary greens/forward tees.

Less dog walkers on the course, this one baffles me but they make good target practice. Go walk your dog on the shooting range!

Gives you an excuse to fly to Portugal in the winter.
