January 2nd Saturday Strollers :-)

First 2nd Saturday Strollers of 2024 today - and we couldn't have asked for better weather ... took loads of snaps, but can't resist posting this classic of the Forth Rail Bridge, taken at the end of the walk!

Did a bit of a circular route from the edge of South Queensferry, out along the coast to the Hopetoun Estate, then on towards Blackness Castle ... turned round just before we reached the castle and headed uphill to the forest-edge, and then back to the periphery of the Hopetoun Estate.

A most enjoyable day, topped off by a few refreshments at the Thirty Knots, in South Queensferry, before returning home for the evening :-)
