Mind the Gap
Cycled to Saltaire this morning to look for pressies for my Mother in Law's 90th birthday. I always like going to Saltaire Mill. There's a great bike shop and early music shop too. And of course the café and we indulged in a baked potato as a special treat today.
Cycled back along part of the canal, and past Dowley Gap locks which are now up and running after some extensive repair work. The wood for these new lock gates came from near where I work in Wakefield - cunningly spotted some months ago by my blip-mentor on one of his regular daily blipping walks.
