Rhododendron Ice Cactus

This is a backblip as I have been away from home for a couple of days and although I have been taking photographs, I haven’t been blipping. The ice crystals were growing in size with each day of frosty weather and I rather liked this effect on the rhododendron.
Nick and I left Bertie in the care of Lucy and her lovely humans in the early evening as we headed to catch an evening ferry and begin our journey for an appointment in Glasgow on Thursday. The ferry left early which was great for us and we had an enjoyable drive on clear quiet roads to Tyndrum where we spent a very comfortable night in a B&B.
