Hot Day In Sirmione

4am start to the day and left Gatwick in the rain more or less on time. Arrived in Verona just before Italian time after a good flight of just 1.5 hours! Very hot and sunny day. Lovely food and friendly staff at hotel. Our waiter used to work at St PierrePark Hotel and we are now his Guernsey friends! Walked into Sirmione this afternoon, lovely town Mish but couldn't find your hotel! Will try again another day. Had lovely ice cream, so many Gelatarias to choose from. Another hot day tomorrow is forecast. Early night tonight me thinks!
