Trot on

A very lazy day! It was quite cloudy unfortunately although the sun did keep poking through. We had a pool day, sleeping, doing aquafit (me), darts tournament (T) reading and then having our now routine volleyball competition…dramatic improvement and we had an unbroken run of 54!
I was very achey all day, and tired, so did quite a lot of snoozing til 5pm when we went riding on the beach. It was great fun-despite the cloud the beach was looking dramatic as usual with the huge crashing turquoise waves and some stretches of black sand. The horses were lovely (we’d expected some old nags to be honest)… very responsive and well behaved. Had a few trots, and the two lads in charge took lots of photos and videos. Very relaxing and a nice end to the day.
Late supper at the grill restaurant then T is going out with an old DJ pal of his who it turns out is staying a couple of hotels further up the beach.
