Charred

I love the patterns on these charred pieces of wood and I've saved them to photograph them in close-up, but have to confess to not being very motivated.  I'm not too sure why but I haven't had my camera or phone out for a week.  I was about to take a phone images of the cloudy Thurlstone Valley from the church where Joy's funeral was held an we needed to move the car at that point, so I got back in and we moved off.  I'll probably try and add something today (the 14th) that gives me a bit of a diary account for my missing week.
