It was a wet start to the day though both weather apps showed a zero percent chance of rain. I decided against an early walk.

By afternoon it had brightened. Instead of walking along the southern shore of Rydal Water (which I expected to be in the shade of Loughrigg Fell) I stuck to the roadside footpath. It gives a good view of the barn in the photo.
