The Vital Spark

Another back blip as I try to catch up after our trip to the mainland. This was on our drive back to Oban via Inveraray where we stopped to have some lunch. Usually we pass through Inveraray as we are on our way to catch a ferry. However, today we had more time to spare and we discovered “Brambles”, a lovely cafe where the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the food very tasty.
When we eventually arrived home, Bertie was slightly reserved, although pleased to see us, and it wasn’t until later in the evening (perhaps when he realised that we were there to stay) that he became very lively and gave us lots of licks.
