A Raw Day
Over to Dounby to see my Mum in the care home; exceedingly chilly. She has had a second change of room in three weeks. Apparently she was wandering trying to get back to be with the original cohort of residents. She has a nice cosy room with an interesting enough view – she can see plenty of folk ootside. True to form today her very first words were: ‘Oh’ it’s you. Earlier I was watching folk decorating – in the nude’. Even more alarmingly she asked if Fran and Anna are still on the go. I had to use her smelling salts. I later related this to Kirsty - whose window she now look across at. Last night’s party went well ad Scullion didn’t embarrass himself.
