Across the lagoons

I think I’d forgotten just how much I dislike January. I’d hoped that getting away for a week would make things easier, but I think it’s just postponed the January blues! 

Still, at least it’s just about nice enough to get out for a walk even if it’s only to the reserve in Conwy. It’s cold and grey, but there are momentary patches of brightness creating metallic sheens and cloud reflections across the lagoons, and on the tops of the Carneddau there is snow. 

Fresh air, exercise and beauty - always a help in boosting a low(ish) mood!
