Figgy Pudding

Very carefully packaged, this Figgy Pud arrived before Christmas from the St. John restaurant in London, courtesy of my brother. For several reasons we didn’t get round to eating it over Christmas so today was the day. Not quite so cold today, 6 degrees, but going to turn much colder from tomorrow, though the chance of snow is now looking slim. Guess I’ll just have to make do with Ski Sunday instead.

Thank you for all your good wishes, feeling a little better today though still wiped out and surviving on paracetamols. It’s a week now since I started to feel not right so I hope this won’t go on for too much longer. Dad has symptoms of a heavy cold, fingers crossed things don’t worsen.
