Chimney Clouds …

… seen from a taxi on the Periph, the highway surrounding Paris, on the way to have Sunday lunch with friends who live in the northern part of the city.
We were treated to a lovely lunch of souris d’agneau (lamb shanks) followed by a Galette des Rois (marzipan pastry, a January speciality commemorating the visit of the Magi to the Christ child) for dessert. It was a wonderful afternoon.
