Trolley Dolly

We don’t have a dog so this is the next best thing. The trolley had been mistreated by some thoughtless individual by being hung by its front wheels on a garden wall about a mile from the supermarket. We had a few sideways glances from passersby. One person remarked that they’d done the same that week.

We had Matt and his mum over for a Sunday lunch and a walk with his dog Winnie. A very enjoyable time, Georgina brought a photo of Landon and Madison that Chris had had done. It is a brilliant photo. I may have to blip it.

Meanwhile, in California Chris was slogging his way through the Carlsbad Marathon, his first ever marathon. We were able to track his progress on the race app. He finished in 4 hours 22 minutes which is good going. Family honours were even. My one and only marathon time was 4 hours 20 minutes and 18 seconds. I was 29, he’s ten years older. Great achievement Chris
