So cold

The snow is still here, not melting because it is so cold.  We checked on the main road out of our home and once we got there it was only a thin layer of snow, the interstate had some bare pavement in lines where some cars had driven.  We were scheduled to take Christmas gifts to our niece and her family a half hour away in Camas.  The side roads were still snow covered but with four wheel drive no problems.  Enjoyed our visit with them.
