Bell mystery

We went to Baldock today. It is famed for its architecture, Mr Pandammonium told me. It is better than that of neighbouring Letchworth.

My curiosity was aroused by this bell-shaped thing with furnitubes written on it.

Some later googling revealed that it is no more than a bollard. But it is, in fact, no ordinary bollard. It is a Bell(R) Bollard, made by Furnitubes, a company that 'offers a complete Street Furniture Service'.

Apparently, the 'unique Bell(R) traffic bollard solves multiple traffic management problems and above all it's proven to save lives'. So now you know. Bell(R) Bollards are the bee's knees when it comes to bollards.
