Black Rose succulent

This succulent grows near our front door. It's unusual because its mature leaves really are near black, the colour of an eggplant (aubergine). The central leaves at their base and younger leaves are green. I chose this plant as my MM subject because it can give good contrasts, from white to black and many shades of grey.
