Foxgloves
Back home extra promptly tonight as it was book group again at my house. Husband had scrubbed, dusted and hoovered so that the house looked lovely when I got back. Just enough time to eat, set out the snacks, find the wine glasses and nip out into the garden for a quick photo.
There are loads of foxgloves in the garden this year and they range from deep purple to almost white. The bees love them.
Our book group discussions went well - those that had finished the book had really enjoyed it (Cutting for Stone). I loved it and had cried mid-commute at one point and then almost wished for train delays so that I could get to the end.
