Incoming storm

A few snow showers around. It was sunny though so we went to Udale bay to see if we could see the Little Stint. No chance as it was a very high tide so all the spits of land were covered except for one piece that was too far away.
We went down to Newhall point to see if anything was around. Managed to avoid all the pot holes.The water was right up to the stones. Did see a Shelduck fly by and a Cormorant. This is the way down the Cromarty Firth and you can see the snow clouds gathering.
We stopped in Rosemarkie on the way back as I had noticed some bullfinch in the Rowan tree.can not really see them very well as the sun was going down behind them.
Spotted a male blackcap in the garden so happy to add him to my list.
Watched the snooker in the evening. O’Sullivan won.
